Home!!!

We are home, it's good to be home, but it is also sad to have our trip over. We originally planned to be gone for a year. It turned out we completed our planned route in eleven months. It went unbelievably fast. We drove 38,000 miles, visited 40 states, went to 300 breweries, 38 wineries and took 5000 pictures. We saw all kinds of spectacular sites, natural and man made . We saw a lot of friends and relatives and met a lot of people. We are looking forward to seeing our Dallas friends and relaxing for a while. How long is hard to say.

Heading West

We headed north through Gainsville, turned west on our last leg home. Stopped in Talahasee to see the Capitol. The first picture is the old Capitol in front of the new one. The second is the new one. Ed, you will be happy to learn that Florida has taken over from Oregon as the ugliest Capitol in the thirty plus we have seen.
