River Cruise

We decided to try another cruise, this time on the Milwaukee River. We had two choices - the historical cruise that went by historical places including a narrative or the happy hour cruise that included endless beer and margaritas. I have always thought that history was overrated.

German Fest

Milwaukee has a great German Fest. Five stages, dozens of bands, beautiful setting along Lake Michigan, plenty of food, beer and glemultichkeit. There was even a group from Dallas. Of course it would have been better had the Alpenmusikanten been playing.

Sheboygan

We stopped in Sheboygan Wisconsin on beautiful Lake Michigan for lunch. The weather was beautiful and then suddenly fog rolled in. First there was a lighthouse and then there wasn't!

Mississippi

We went on a river cruise with Ben's brother, sister-in-law and niece. The weather was great when we started out. We were enjoying the scenery and a cool beverage, when suddenly a storm came up and we had to hurry back to the dock.
