Christmas tree







In Barb's ongoing search for the perfect Christmas tree we went through prairie, woods, saw wild turkeys, fawn and finally found the perfect tree. All within the University of Wisconsin Arboretum.

Great Taste







Saturday we went to the Great Taste of the Midwest. One of the premier beer festivals in the country. Over 100 breweries and 500 beers all from the Midwest on beautiful Lake Monona. We tried, but we couldn't get through them all!!

Stone



We were pleasantly surprised to find that one of our favorite Southern California breweries, Stone, is now being distributed in Wisconsin. Additionally a Madison restaurant had a release party for their 08-08-08 Vertical Epic Friday night.

If you have to go to college, this would be a good way to do it. We went to the Terrace at the University of Wisconsin Memorial Union to hear some music. You can tell you are in Wisconsin by the color of the boats.
