Trenton
We visited the Capitol at Trenton and some barracks from the
Revolutionary
war.

Jersey shore
We visited the New Jersey Shore at Sandy Hook, where there were beaches, an old Army base, a view of Manhattan and another light house.
Washington
We then visited where General Washington spent the winters.
New Jersey
We visited Jockey Hollow where the colonial troops spent two winters.

Coney Island
We couldn't drive through Brooklyn and not stop at Coney Island to have a hot dog at Nathan's.

Times Square
We walked through Times Square in the afternoon and again at night. The only thing that changed was the number of people, it's a night spot.
Empire State Building
New York City from atop the Empire State Building.

We stayed in New Jersey and took the train to Manhattan with friends Margaret and Walter to see all of the sights - ground zero, Empire State Building, etc.

We had to check out the mansions in Newport RI.
Providence
After leaving Massachusetts, we visited Providence Rhode Island.
