Heading West



We headed north through Gainsville, turned west on our last leg home. Stopped in Talahasee to see the Capitol. The first picture is the old Capitol in front of the new one. The second is the new one. Ed, you will be happy to learn that Florida has taken over from Oregon as the ugliest Capitol in the thirty plus we have seen.

Uncle Dick



While in Fort Lauderdale Patti and Barb got to visit their Uncle Dick. The bachelor uncle who married his lovely wife Sharon at age 66.

We went to Miami and visited South Beach.

New River







We took a river cruise on the New River through Fort Lauderdale.

Key West








We took a day trip to Key West. We had a great time, but realized that there is too much to do for a day trip.
