We made it to our next stop on Tuesday. Another beach town, Ventura is an hour north of Los Angeles and one half hour south of Santa Barbara. We think it will give us a good base to explore from for the next couple weeks. We are not on the beach this time, more downtown, but it is only a quarter mile to the beach. It has an intersting, historical downtown and of course harbor, pier, and surfers.
