We are now in Indianapolis. The first night we went to a German restaurant. It was in a great old building originally called Das Deutsche Haus. It had high ceilings, rock walls, and a great bier garden. Unfortunately the restaurant did not live up to it's building. The menu was only about 10% German, the bier selection was meager and the music was acoustical rock!! Definitely not the Bavarian Grill.

That is sad, becasue that building was great, from the first picture I even had high hopes that this may actually work out to be a pretty good place. What a bummer! And as much as I love music, acoustic rock is not part of the German theme.
