A couple pictures taken last night from the sun deck of our motel.
Also a couple of things I forgot to tell about our trip here. We don't know how well the Border Patrol is patrolling the border, but they are doing a good job of patrolling the freeway. We were stopped three times for checkpoints between Yuma and San Diego.
I know everybody is experiencing high gasoline prices, but we were shocked when we got here and the best price we can find is $3.45 a gallon!

Glad you made it to the coast. Hope you were enjoying a good glass of wine while mother nature entertained you.
I just did some calculation and figuerd out that you would pay for a gallon of gas about $9 in Germany!
$3.45 is still not too bad...:)
