We made it to Washington on May 11th, Mothers Day. Shortly after arriving we saw a Lilac garden, Barb's favorite flower. It looked and smelled great. Afterwards we decided to take a detour to see Mt. St. Helens. The higher, closer viewing areas were still closed because of snow (good news). We had to settle with one 20 miles away. It was cloudy, we are in Washington after all. We went that far to take pictures I am going to post them even if you can't see anything.
